Just across the street from
the train station, the Alpes et Lac Hotel has the best panorama
of the alps, lake, and historic town of any hotel in Neuchâtel.
Built in 1872 the hotel's interior was renovated in contemporary style.
Rooms are not big, but they are clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly,
helpful, and multilingual. Ask for my favorite room #107, which has
one of the best views in the hotel. |

30. If it is a clear day splurge and get a room on the lake side of
the hotel. You won't forget the view of the town, lake and alps.
