Hotel Touring is at
an excellent location. Ferries just steps away can take you to towns
and villages along the shores of Lake Neuchâtel, Lake
Morat and Lake Bieler. Within a few minutes walk is
the historic town center, numerous restaurants and museums. |
The rooms are not large and
the hotel is not anything fancy, but still clean and neat. Furniture
is of the normal hotel variety. Like the Hotel Beau Lac,
which is just across the harbor, the location of the Hotel Touring,
and the views, are the hotel's best feature. In fact, I like the view
from Hotel Touring better with the intimate little town harbor
just pass your window sill. Of course you will need to ask for a room
with a view to take advantage of it.
In the same building as the hotel is the Restaurant
Touring au Lac serving the Italian dishes including pizza.
Many tables have views of the harbor, and there is outdoor seating
on the harbor side during the warm weather months.
