Silversmith Jacques Froidevaux

Silversmithing is an ancient art. Silversmith Jacques Froidevaux's studio is in a building dating back hundreds of years, and is just a few minutes walk from Neuchâtel's cathedral and castle. I met Jacques Froidevaux by chance in the center of the old quarter of Neuchâtel. He said he was a silversmith, and I asked if I could take photos of him in his workshop. He graciously agreed. The result is this fine collection of photographs of an artisan at work.
