Knight Stands Guard before the Restaurant Banneret

Located in the oldest quarter
of Neuchâtel, the Banneret is an excellent Italian
restaurant. You can hardly go wrong with any item on the menu. Not
only is the food exceptional. The building, dating from 1609, is the
finest example of late Renaissance style architecture in the region,
and is a feast for the eyes. |
The ground floor is nice,
but take the stairs up to the next floor for a more intimate experience.
The interior architecture is finer, also. When the weather is warm
you can have your meal on the front terrace, and watch the people
of Neuchâtel pass by as you enjoy your meal.
